Frequently asked questions
The questions before the trial
Short answers, with a link to the page that goes deeper.
The product
Does SAUL replace the lawyer?
No. SAUL prepares the work, from rebuilding the facts to the draft filing; choices, review and signature stay with the lawyer.
What does SAUL do, in short?
It reads the documents of a case, rebuilds parties, timeline and issues, proposes a reasoned strategy, turns it into an action plan and prepares draft filings. Each case has a dedicated agent to talk to.
How it worksDoes anything need installing?
No, SAUL runs in the browser. The exception is the app for forensic capture of web pages, used only in the Cybersecurity and blockchain practice area.
Cybersecurity and blockchainWhich languages does it work in?
The interface is in Italian, English, French and German. The firm's language also applies to what SAUL writes.
Confidentiality
Does the AI model see the clients' names?
No: before any reasoning the case documents are pseudonymised. The exception is the dashboard chat, used before opening a case, which does not pseudonymise: the interface says so.
Security and confidentialityWhere are the documents stored?
In an AES-256 encrypted volume dedicated to each firm, on servers in Germany.
Security and confidentialityWorking on the case
Are the legal citations reliable?
Every provision cited links to the official source, so the lawyer can open and check it. In drafts, missing information stays flagged "to be completed" instead of being invented.
Can what SAUL writes be corrected?
Yes: the editor lets the lawyer change the draft by hand or by asking the agent, and every previous version can be recovered. The filing exports to Word.
Can colleagues work on it too?
Yes: the firm's team works on the same cases, and a case can be shared read-only with a lawyer from another firm, for a limited time.
